White-Spunner Construction contracted Sarah Hicks of Partner Architecture to lead the redesign efforts of a warehouse structure in Mobile, Alabama. The structure was abandoned for many years, leaving ample room for creativity. The project consisted of redesigning the exterior façade, maximizing office and equipment storage space, and producing safe paths of travel. The 9,535 square foot warehouse houses a variety of construction equipment, so the design team was tasked with ensuring the security of the building, which included ample exterior lighting. Construction is estimated to cost $80,000.
