Alabama School of Math and Science: Mincy Classroom Building

This comprehensive renovation project transformed a dated three-story classroom building into a modern, flexible academic environment. Outdated chemistry labs were removed to make way for larger, more adaptable classroom spaces that support a variety of teaching styles and technologies. The design prioritizes easy maintenance, moisture exclusion, natural light, and on-brand  aesthetics, creating a more engaging learning atmosphere for students and faculty alike.

The project builds on previous improvements to the building, including updated biology labs completed in an earlier phase by Mitch, ensuring a cohesive and contemporary academic facility. This renovation reflects a thoughtful approach to educational design—preserving the building’s structural integrity while meeting the evolving needs of science and general instruction.
